EMPHASIS: DWI Saturation In Saline County

Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee’s Summit, announces that sometime during the month of January, a driving while intoxicated saturation will be conducted in Saline County.

The saturation is part of the continuing effort by the Missouri State Highway Patrol to remove intoxicated drivers from our highways. Members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol will concentrate their efforts on highways which have been found to have a higher number of alcohol-related crashes and enforcement contacts.

Captain Powell stated, “Do not let your life or someone else’s life be ruined by an alcohol-related crash or arrest. If you are going to drink, have a plan. Make sure that plan includes a designated driver.”
