A Newark, Mo., man was arrested Sunday for driving while intoxicated and with a suspended license after he crashed into another vehicle on Route E north of Bethel, Mo.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, Robert Fry, 49, was jailed after he collided with a vehicle carrying Joe Joseph, 50, and his daughter Loren, both of Bethel.

Joe and Loren were hospitalized at Northeast Regional Medical Center with minor and moderate injuries, respectively.

Fry’s 1995 Chevrolet was headed westbound when he crossed the centerline around 5:45 p.m. and collided with Joseph’s 1999 Ford.
