Law enforcement officers in the Springfield, MO area arrested at least four people on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in stepped-up enforcement efforts on New Year’s Eve.In Springfield, police arrested four drivers in five hours for DWI on Monday night. Eight officers made 75 traffic stops and either issued summonses or warnings for 85 traffic violations.
The enforcement effort was the department’s third in December. The enhanced enforcement efforts for December resulted in 25 DWI arrests. More >>
