Barron Hilton pleads no contest to DUI charge

Los Angeles, CA
It looks like Barron Hilton, 18-year old lil bro of Paris Hilton, has taken a cue from Mischa Barton, by pleading “no contest” to charges of drunk driving.

Barron Hilton, who entered his plea of no contest today in a Los Angeles court, will also avoid doing any time, unlike big sis Paris. The younger Hilton will also be on three years probation and in addition to those alcohol education classes, is required to pay a visit to the L.A. County Morgue, which is quickly becoming a celebrity hotspot, as Lindsay Lohan also hung out here for a lil’ bit as part of her DUI sentence.

Aside from the fact that the hotel non-heir (if Grandpa’s decision is final) was drinking underage, he was also found to be driving without a valid license, like Barton. And he allegedly hit another vehicle at some point in the evening.

Regarding fines, Hilton will have to fork over $2000, no biggie. He’ll also face a hearing in June to determine the cost of any property damages he may have caused.

And finally Barron Hilton had his real driver’s license suspended for a year, which means he’ll probably have to use a chauffeur. Of course if he had been doing that on the night of February 12th, this whole mess could’ve been avoided.

Paris Hilton's brother Barron Hilton pleads no contest to DUI

Malibu, CA
Barron Hilton, 18, pleaded no contest Wednesday to two misdemeanors stemming from a drunken-driving incident in Malibu and will spend months taking alcohol education programs, authorities said.

Barron, younger brother of celebutante Paris Hilton, also will lose his license for a year.

He was not in court as his attorney entered his pleas to drunken driving and possessing a false driver's license, district attorney's spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said.

Two other counts of driving under the influence and being an unlicensed driver at the time were dismissed, she said.

He was sentenced to three years of probation, fined about $2,000 and ordered to attend a three-month-long alcohol education program, another one involving a visit to a morgue and a third run by Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

A call to his attorney, Richard Hutton, seeking comment was not immediately returned.

The young Hilton was arrested Feb. 12 after his Mercedes-Benz was spotted weaving on Pacific Coast Highway.

At some point he apparently struck another vehicle and a gas pump and faces a June hearing to determine restitution, Gibbons said.

Barron Hilton charged with DUI

Los Angeles, CA
Paris Hilton's 18-year-old brother was charged Thursday with four misdemeanor counts stemming from his Feb. 12 arrest on suspicion of drunken driving. Barron Nicholas Hilton's charges include driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and being an unlicensed driver.

Hilton was stopped Feb. 12 after a witness reported seeing a black Mercedes-Benz weaving on Pacific Coast Highway, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said. He was allegedly carrying a fake driver's license.

Hilton was booked at the Malibu station and registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.14 percent — .08 is the rate at which a driver is legally intoxicated in California.

Hilton was freed on $20,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned April 14. More >>

Barron Hilton was with movie boss John Peters' daughter on DUI night

Los Angeles, CA
Paris Hilton's brother Barron was with the 16-year-old daughter of a Hollywood producer when he was arrested for driving under the influence earlier this month.

Barron, 18, was stopped by California police on the Pacific Coast Highway and was reportedly found to have almost twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

He was held by cops and then released on bail.

Now police have revealed Superman Returns filmmaker Jon Peters' daughter Skye was in the passenger seat of the Mercedes, and was driving it before Hilton took the wheel.

California Highway Patrol officer Leon Hines claims Peters was driving when the Mercedes - registered in her name - is alleged to have hit another car before knocking over a gas station attendant, prior to Hilton's arrest, reports PageSix.com.

Paris Hilton's words about Barron Hilton after DUI arrest

Los Angeles, CA
I'm assuming Barron Hilton hasn't used his one phone call yet because his entire family found out about his DUI through the press.

Paris was on her way to Vegas when she found out about her little bro's run in with the law. She said, "I am sad for my little brother. I hear he is doing OK. I am there for him and will be speaking to him in an hour or so, hopefully, to lend my support."

When she said "I am here for him" she actually meant 'He can leave me a voicemail while I party in Vegas.' Also, why is she acting like he's the victim? He was driving drunk! He could have hurt someone, you should beat his ass, not lend your support.

UPDATE:The Hilton family wanted to show some tough love so they refused to cough up the 20k to bail their son out of jail. His friends went to jail with only 2k expecting to get him out of the joint. When that didn't work, they found a bail bondsman to help them out with the rest of the money. He has since been released from jail.

Paris Hilton's brother Barron Hilton arrested for DUI in Malibu

Malibu, CA
It looks like Paris Hilton's little brother is following in his big sister's footsteps.

The 18-year-old hotel heir Barron Hilton was arrested at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday for driving under the influence on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department..

The not-as-famous-as-his-siblings Hilton was reportedly pulled over at a 76 gas station and had an unidentified passenger in the car with him.

Hilton was held at the Malibu station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. No other information was immediately available, said sheriff's Sgt. Diane Hecht.

As word of his arrest spread, nearly a dozen paparazzi swarmed the sheriff's station.

Paris Hilton pleaded no contest last year to alcohol-related reckless driving and was sentenced to 45 days in jail. The 26-year-old celebutante served a little more than two weeks.
